Voices for Animal Welfare (VfAW) works to improve animals’ lives through a practical combination of education, legal & policy work, veterinary/science initiatives, and ethical photography. We connect field realities in Africa with research, public awareness, and advocacy in Europe, so animal welfare action is both locally relevant and globally visible.
Where we work
We implement activities primarily in Tanzania in partnership with schools, training institutions, and local stakeholders, while building European outreach, networks, and visibility through communications and events.

How we work with partners
Co-designed, locally grounded, globally visible
We collaborate with schools, training institutions, local professionals, NGOs and volunteers to co-design activities that fit the Tanzanian context and can scale responsibly. We also maintain structured internal collaboration through advisory support across our pillars.
